Version 5 had a fine logo and this was a 4.5 star app. Version 5.1 updates with one of the ugliest logos ive ever seen. Please set it back.

Sorry. This is a great app. I use it every day. But I just refuse to upgrade until the previous app icon comes back. Keep it simple, this is hideous. 5 Stars when the icon recovers its style.

Used to like this app however now it crashes all the time. Still waiting on help from vendor :(

I have a number of the (physical) HP-12c calculators that Ive collected over the years. I use those while at home because I dont want to lose any of them, but when away from home, I use this app for all of my financial calculations. This alphas never missed a beat, and although Im no expert as to its absolute accuracy compared with the physical HP-12c, it has performed flawlessly. Moreover, I have had this app installed on the iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, and now on the iPhone 5. Its worked great on all iPhone versions. My many thanks to the developer for this product.

This is one that Ive used since the days of my 3Gs. Unfortunatly, it has not been updated to keep up with the displays of the 5 and 5s. Its still a great calculator though and one Id recommend. Needs a new icon though, for iOS 7!

Just discovered rotation option on this app, so restored to 5 star. Setting was already set to Rotation On but needed to be re-set to work properly. This is correction of note posted below. Should be 5 stars for this outstanding app, but the fact that landscape orientation only works with home button on the left makes it harder to use with many iPad cases. Not really a major issue with iPhones, but still seems odd. Also, it appears that the app no longer works in portrait orientation.

The new version posted on February 26, 2014 does not work. Also how do we hide the ALG, BEG and other indicators?

It defaults to "alg" and either has hidden or has no switch to select RPN. Nothing on the website either. Help!

Terrible update to an app that was working fine. Unusable.

Have been using for years. Great app until latest update. Interface is ugly now. Not recommended at this time.

What happened to the RPN? If gone, I want my money back.

The main reason for me using the 12c is the RPN capability. That is the way I have use a calculator for the past 30 years and taking this away is very very disappointing. I guess I will have to buy HPs own version of their 12c. BAD FORM guys!!!!!

The update defaults to ALG entry. The iTunes info states the 12C classic only operates as RPN and the Platinum model allows a choice between ALG adn RPN. However, I cannot find a way to go back to RPN in either mode. Why mess with my choices with a update? How can I get RPN back? No links or Internet support from developer. #fail!

Recently updated to Version 6.0. The new update automatically put the calculator into ALG mode. (Which I hate.) After searching the web, I found a way to have the calculator switch to RPN. This is a great App. I particularly like the ability to show the registers on screen (landscape). Happy, happy, happy. If you have used an HP12C, this is the App for you! Buttons are VERY realistic, response is quick.

Have used this program for years as an RPN calculator. Now it is algebraic. Bring back RPN. I will now have to go back into my trash to recover the previous version.

Have been using a 12 c since B school decades ago. This was a great replacement for my old 12 c, however, with the recent update, it became worthless and iTunes doesnt have a fixed. Back to the real thing.

This app used to be 5 stars... Until the most recent update. It went from Reverse Polish Notation to BROKE. RPN involves the following sequence: 25 [Enter] 2 [X], which produces the result of 50. After the update, RPN is no longer functional. Please fix ASAP!

HP12c without RPN option? Are you killing me? Please fix this bug as soon as possible!

Switch to platinum mode in the settings. RPN is located in the "f" menu on the CHS button. (Hit "f", then hit CHS). This was still a poor update. RPN should be default in both classic and platinum modes. Two stars until this is fixed.

POC "Update". Who updates an application to make it not work? These people. DO NOT BUY- reverse Polish notation DOES NOT WORK after the update. Zero stars would be better than 1.
